Release date of Arun Vijay starrer ‘Maanja Velu’ has been postponed. The film directed by A Venkatesh will now hit the screens only on May 21, as against the date that was announced earlier- May 7.

According to the producers Feather Touch Entertainments, the decision to delay the movie’s release has been taken to honour a request from distributors and theatre owners.

“As a result, the film will now see the light of the day on May 21 with ample support from exhibitors and distributors, who are one of the main reasons behind the success of any movie,” sources close to the production house say.

With Dhanshika of ‘Peranmai’ fame playing the heroine, the success team of ‘Malai Malai’ (Venkatesh, Feather Touch and Arun Vijay) has come together once again for this venture. Yesteryear top actor Karthik makes his comeback in a pivotal role with this flick, which is a remake of Telugu hit ‘Lakshayam’.
